Creating a game is a rather labor-intensive and difficult to predict process. For more clarity, you can familiarize yourself with the basic process of developing missions in the Zomox game:
Idea and planning
Defining the episode concept, target audience and key mechanics. Creation of a mission design and styling document (GDD) describing all aspects of the visualization.
Selection of technologies
Determination of platforms (for example, iOS, Android, web), choice of engine (Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot), network technologies and databases for storing game data.
Prototyping
Creating a basic version of the game with basic mechanics to test ideas and identify problems.
Development
Programming the client and server parts, creating and integrating graphics, sounds and other resources. Development of systems for authorization, saving progress and interaction between players.
Testing
Alpha and beta testing to identify and fix bugs, optimize performance and improve gameplay on all target platforms.
Launch and support.
